How can organizations document their ability to do more for their customers than is confirmed by a certificate? How can they accept more responsibility for their management system and ensure its continual improvement?
Of course a certificate of conformity according to ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 is still the accepted declaration of an organization’s capabilities. But quite often the quality of the management system exceeds the routine expressed by these standards. The DQS TIP procedure supplies the necessary impetus to noticeably increase capabilities. With DQS TIP, we offer our customers a support program for management systems, designed to fill the gap between ISO system standards and advanced individual requirements. Alternative assessment methods strengthen especially the feeling of responsibility for system improvement. An important aspect of this procedure is the manufacturer’s commitment to exemplary performance, issued by way of a DQS-verified declaration: to the benefit of the organization and their customers.
DQS has already performed DQS TIP pilot assessments according to ISO 14001. The overall target is to expand the accredited procedure to include environmental management. This will once again place DQS as forerunner in the use of alternative methods.
