Now, the first automobile manufacturer has specifically required his suppliers to prove the certification of an implemented information security management system. The goal is to ensure a constant confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and to protect its exchange on a very high level. A call that could certainly have an alarming impact for the sector.

For automotive suppliers it is now time to act fast in order to ensure their competitiveness, especially if they are deeply involved in design and production processes or have even been required to prove a functioning ISMS already.

DQS is accredited for certifications according to ISO/IEC 27001 and the framework for product safety in the German automotive industry (Protection of prototypes). Based on ISO/IEC 27001 we assess the level of protection of information in your organization, either as a status analysis (which gaps need to be closed before certification) or as a certification audit.
