History

In 1985 DQS was founded, reflecting the commencement of the ISO 9000 family. The founding shareholders required DQS to assess the quality capabilities of organisations in a neutral and independent manner. Today DQS offers a wide variety of services which are tailored to the customer's needs and considers their industry sector, size of their organisation and the goals of their management system.

Worldwide Service

The 90s showed rapid growth of ISO 9000 certificates and increasing globalisation of customers. In 1990, DQS established the European certification network, EQNet, together with other first-class certification bodies. Today this network has become IQNet due to addition of partners from other continents. The common objective is to ensure international recognition by the mutual acceptance of each partner's certificates. The cornerstone for an independent international presence was laid in 1994 with the establishment of the first DQS office in Brazil. Today, DQS is ready to serve its customers with offices around the globe.
